St. Peter ad Vincula Lodge in common
with all other Masonic Lodges places a high premium on the charitable
aspects of freemasonry. Although we are a relatively small Lodge we
pride ourselves that we maintain the charitable traditions of our
predecessors.
During each Masonic year our
Lodge donate to many charities both local and national.
As well as regular donations to the
Staffordshire Grand Charity Festival, St Peter ad Vincula Lodge has over
the last few years made donations to. The Chernobyl Childrens Fund,
Staffordshire Blood Bikes, The British Legion, The Douglas MacMillan
Hospice, The St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital, Kidsgrove Scouts, Cancer
Research, The Donna Louise Trust, Help for Heroes, The Gurkha Welfare
Trust, The British Heart Foundation, Abbey Hulton School, Ronald
MacDonald House, North Staffs. Carers, Friends of Lichfield Cathedral.
At the Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting
on May 11th 2011 our Lodges efforts were recognised by the Provincial
Grand Master R.W. Bro. Thomas D C Lloyd when he presented the Worshipful
Master with a certificate and crystal goblet to mark our progress in
raising money for the 2013 festival. Our members can take some pride in
being the ninth lodge in the province to receive this honour. (please

Each Christmas we donate toys to a
local Women and Children Shelter.
At the March Installation meeting we
usually donate a total of £2000 to various charities, including donations to local causes
each nominated by a member of the Lodge
St Peter ad Vincula Lodge would like
to thank all of the visiting Brethren who help to make the February "Old English Nights" such a successful
fundraising event.
